Canadians continued their foreign securities investing spree in July, buying $3.7 billion worth in July, following a $5.6 billion investment in June, Statistics Canada reports. Canadians still favoured U.S. stocks over overseas investments in July, the agency said.

Foreign investors made their largest investment of the year in July, buying $3.3 billion worth of Canadian securities in July, after selling off $2.4 billion worth in June. Most of the foreign investing was made in natural resources sector stocks.
