BP Amoco announced today it
has closed the sale of its entire
portfolio of conventional and heavy
oil properties to Canadian Natural
Resources and Penn West
Petroleum Ltd. for C$1.6
billion.
BP Amoco announced its
intention to sell its Canadian oil
properties on June 10, 1999. The
purchasers were named on Aug. 5.
