Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc. (TSX:AAC) announced today that Q1 profits rose 23 per cent from 2002. Net earnings for the Q1 period were $10.8 million, a full $2 million greater than 2002’s reported Q1 earnings of $8.8 million. 2003 revenues grew $1.4 million to $164.0 million.
Alliance Atlantis has seen strong growth in advertising revenue along with the continued popularity of its CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Miami television shows. In total, Alliance Atlantic productions garnered 14 Emmy nominations this year. IE
