(September 12 – 9:30 ET) – University Avenue Financial Corp. says John Loeprich has been appointed chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
Gordon Bonn, former CFO, will remain as a director and vice president at University Avenue. Loeprich comes to the firm as part of its acquisition of @rgentum Management & Research Corp., where he was a founder and officer. He has also been with TD Bank, TD Securities Inc., Fidelity Investments Canada Ltd. and his own consulting firm, Magellan Consulting Group.
Ron Sciannella has been appointed to the University Avenue board of directors. Sciannella will also serve on the company’s audit committee and the independent compensation committee. Sciannella is a partner with the chartered accounting firm Millard, Rouse & Rosebrugh, and a principal with the chartered business valuator firm, MRR Valuations Inc.
“Mr. Loeprich’s experience will be pivotal to the growth of our organization,” said Saverio Manzo, director. “In his position, he will be responsible for all finance and fund operations including the consolidation of our recently announced merger with @rgentum.”
