(July 26 – 16:50 ET) – Trimark Financial Corp. says it has received the final order of the Superior Court of Justice (Ontario) for the proposed merger of Trimark and Amvescap plc.
The arrangement remains subject to conditions listed in a merger agreement entered into between the two companies. Trimark expects that all such conditions will be satisfied on or before August 1, the intended closing of the transaction.
