Tradex Equity Fund Limited will re-commence the general sale of mutual fund shares starting November 19, 2001.

For almost five years Tradex Equity Fund had only sold mutual funds shares to investors making contributions to an RRSP which already maintained shares of the Fund, via dividend reinvestments and on a discretionary basis through Tradex Management Inc. to certain directors and employees of Tradex Management Inc.

Tradex Management Inc. manages the business and affairs of Tradex Equity Fund Limited, Tradex Canadian Growth Fund, Tradex Bond Fund and Tradex Global Equity Fund. The Tradex Funds are distributed to Canadian residents who are, or have been employed in the public sector (including governments, hospitals, school boards and Crown Corporation), and their immediate families.

The investment portfolio of Tradex Equity Fund Limited is managed by Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management Ltd. and is invested in a diversified portfolio of common shares of primarily Canadian companies evidencing a strong financial position and good growth potential.
