TD Asset Management Inc. has launched a new group of investment products called TD Comfort Portfolios, the company announced on Monday.

The portfolios are each comprised of up to TD five mutual funds, designed for investors to diversify their holdings.

“The TD Comfort Portfolios provide customers with access to some of our top quality funds through one ready-made solution,” said Tim Pinnington, president of TD Mutual Funds in a statement. “Investors can rest assured that through our best-in-class fund managers, we are helping them stay on track in reaching their investing goals.”

Five different portfolios are available: TD Comfort Conservative Portfolio, Moderate Portfolio, Balanced Portfolio, Growth Portfolio and Equity Portfolio.

Each features a different investment strategy, ranging from conservative to aggressive to meet different investor preferences.

Portfolio managers will regularly monitor and adjust the Comfort Portfolios as necessary, seeking to maximize their potential returns over the long-term according to their risk levels

The portfolios are sold through TD Canada Trust branches, and are available in no-load Investor Series units only.

The portfolios have management fees currently among the lowest in the industry for comparable investments, TD Asset Management said.
