StrategicNova Funds Management Inc. today announced the appointment of Marie Desroches as president of the company. Desroches will assume her new responsibilities immediately.

For the past three years, Desroches was President of Fonds Evolution Inc., a Montreal-based mutual fund company that she founded in 1998. Previously, she spent 10 years with Bell Canada working in the areas of engineering, construction, sales and finance.

Desroches is a Professional Engineer and has earned her CFA designation. She has an MBA from Concordia University as well as a Bachelor of Applied Sciences from the University of Sherbrooke. Desroches also serves on the board of directors for a number of charity and industry groups.
