(December 20) – Spectrum United is beefing up its roster of fully RRSP-eligible foreign funds. Three new funds are for sale today.
The Spectrum RRSP American Growth Fund, RRSP Global Growth Fund and RRSP Global Telecommunications Fund track three actively managed growth funds offered by the firm as foreign content. The American and telecom funds are managed by MFS Institutional Advisors Inc. of Boston and London-based Mercury Asset Management Ltd., now wholly-owned by Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc., manages the global fund.
Karen Bleasby, vice president investments at Spectrum says it chose these funds to clone because of “their exposure to regions and sectors that offer investors the potential for superior long-term returns.”
These new funds, along with its RRSP World Equity Fund and RRSP International Bond Fund, bring Spectrum’s lineup of fully RRSP-eligible funds to five.
