Scotia Securities Inc. today announced the appointment of a new portfolio advisor to four of its mutual funds.

Effective March 1, State Street Global Advisors, Ltd. will become portfolio advisor to Scotia Canadian Bond Index Fund, Scotia Canadian Stock Index Fund, Scotia American Stock Index Fund, and Scotia International Stock Index Fund, replacing Barclays Global Investors Canada Ltd.
