Scotia Securities Inc. today announced the appointment of new portfolio advisors to three of its mutual funds.

Bank of Ireland Asset Management (U.S.) Ltd., Greenwich, Connecticut, will be the portfolio advisor to Scotia European Growth Fund.

TCW Investment Management Company, Los Angeles, California, will be the portfolio advisor to Scotia Latin American Growth Fund and Scotia Pacific Rim Growth Fund.

These portfolio advisors will replace Scotia Cassels Investment Counsel Limited, effective as of March 17, 2003.
