C.I. Mutual Funds has appointed Steinberg Priest & Sloane Capital Management LLC as manager for four Canadian mutual funds in addition to the three they currently manage.
The approximate assets in the new funds total $221 million. The new funds being managed by SPSCM are: Signature American Small Companies, Signature Global Small Companies, Spectrum Global Growth Fund, and Spectrum Optimax USA Fund. The existing mandates are the C.I. American Value Sector, C.I. American Managers (Value Sector), and C.I. Global Managers (Value Sector).
The equity funds will be run by a team led by William Priest, co-managing partner, David Pearl, managing director, and Janet Navon, director.
