Return On Innovation Capital Ltd. announced name changes for three mutual funds, effective today.

ROI Sceptre Canadian Pension Fund becomes ROI Canadian Retirement Fund, ROI Global Pension Fund becomes ROI Global Retirement Fund, and Sceptre Income & High Growth Trust becomes ROI Sceptre Retirement Growth Fund.

ROI says the name change was completed as part of the conversion of the Sceptre Income & High Growth Trust from Sceptre Investment Counsel to ROI Capital.

The ROI Retirement Funds’ investment objectives and investment philosophy remain the same. ROI says the funds provide investors with a more diversified asset mix that includes private placements, which are uncorrelated to public markets. The funds also offer a choice of flexible cash flow solutions with a high level of tax efficiency.

ROI Capital specializes in private-placement lending. Private placement loans are made to established companies who pay back principal and interest.
