HSBC Global Asset Management (Canada) Ltd. has changed the names of HSBC LifeMap Portfolios to HSBC World Selection Diversified Funds, the company said Friday.

The funds’ investment objectives and risk profiles remain the same.

The change follows the recent merger of the HSBC LifeMap MM Portfolios into their equivalent HSBC LifeMap Portfolios on December 10.

The new fund name are:
> HSBC LifeMap Conservative Portfolio is now HSBC World Selection Diversified Conservative Fund;
> HSBC LifeMap Moderate Conservative Portfolio is now HSBC World Selection Diversified Moderate Conservative Fund;
> HSBC LifeMap Balanced Portfolio is now HSBC World Selection Diversified Balanced Fund;
> HSBC LifeMap Growth Portfolio is now HSBC World Selection Diversified Growth Fund; and
> HSBC LifeMap Aggressive Growth Portfolio is nowHSBC World Selection Diversified Aggressive Growth Fund.

Marc Cevey, CEO, HSBC Global Asset Management (Canada) Limited, commented: “We are changing the names of these funds to better reflect the global investment views adopted across World Selection — a world-class wealth management platform now offered by HSBC in over 25 countries.”

Investors in Canada will now have access to two World Selection offerings: HSBC World Selection Diversified Funds (with minimum investment of $500) and HSBC World Selection Portfolio service (for accounts above $50,000).
