Dundas Life, a new digital life insurance broker, announced its launch on Tuesday.

The Toronto-based platform allows users to compare rates from Canadian life insurers and apply for coverage through a secure digital platform. The process of selecting a policy and completing an application can take as little as 15 minutes, according to a release.

“In a world where almost anything can be purchased with a few clicks on your phone, we believe the insurance industry needs to catch up to the expectations of the modern consumer,” Gregory Rozdeba, co-founder and president of Dundas Life, said in a statement.

Customers also have the option of speaking with a licensed insurance advisor to find a policy that suits their needs, the release said.
