Dynamic Mutual Funds has appointed David Goodman as president and CEO of Dynamic Mutual Funds Ltd.

Goodman has served as president of Goodman & Company Investment Counsel, Dynamic’s investment management division, since 1998.

He will continue to serve in his previous capacity, and will continue as lead manager of Dynamic’s Canadian value funds.

Jonathan Goodman has become the president and CEO of Dundee Resources Ltd., a new subsidiary of Dynamic’s ultimate parent, Dundee Bancorp. In his new position, he will focus entirely on managing the corporation’s resource based initiatives.

Dynamic also announced that it is streamlining its operations and cutting costs. The cost cutting program has resulted in the elimination of approximately 30 full time employees. The company cited the recent decline in capital markets and other economic events as the reason for the cuts.
