TD Asset Management Inc., the manager of TD Mutual Funds, Tuesday announced name changes for several mutual funds effective July 23.

“The new names provide improved clarity and better reflect the mandates of the mutual funds. There will be no change to the funds’ investment objectives or strategies,” TD Asset Management stated.

Among the Comfort Portfolios:

– TD Comfort Conservative Portfolio becomes TD Comfort Balanced Income Portfolio;
– TD Comfort Moderate Portfolio becomes TD Comfort Balanced Portfolio;
– TD Comfort Balanced Portfolio becomes TD Comfort Balanced Growth Portfolio; and
– TD Comfort Equity Portfolio becomes TD Comfort Aggressive Growth Portfolio.

In the TD Advantage Investment Portfolios:

– TD Advantage Conservative Portfolio is renamed TD Advantage Balanced Income Portfolio;
– TD Advantage Moderate Portfolio is renamed TD Advantage Balanced Portfolio;
– TD Advantage Balanced Portfolio is renamedTD Advantage Balanced Growth Portfolio; and
– TD Advantage Equity Portfolio is renamed TD Advantage Aggressive Growth Portfolio.

In the TD Mutual Funds line-up:

– TD High Yield Income Fund switches to TD High Yield Bond Fund;
– TD Global Select Fund switches to TD Global Growth Fund;
– TD International Equity Fund switches TD International Value Fund;
– TD International Equity Growth Fund switches to TD International Growth Fund;
– TD U.S. Equity Advantage Portfolio switches to TD U.S. Equity Portfolio;
– TD U.S. Equity Advantage Currency Neutral Portfolio; switches to TD U.S. Equity Currency Neutral Portfolio; and
– TD Global Equity Advantage Portfolio switches to TD Global Equity Portfolio Portfolio.
