Mavrix Fund Management Inc. has announced that the Mavrix Diversified Fund will begin monthly distributions beginning July 31, 2007 with a record date of July 30, 2007.
Managed by portfolio investment veteran Jackee Pratt, the Fund will pay $0.03 per unit per month, which provides an approximate annualized yield of 5%.

Investors can choose to receive distributions either as re-invested units or cash with re-invested units as the default choice. The Fund’s prospectus mandates that 25% or more of the Fund is to be invested in fixed income securities enabling the Fund to be positioned to provide a conservative mix of income and long term capital growth.
