(October 27 – 15:00 ET) – Investors Group is planning to launch an innovative managed asset program.
iProfile, is an investment program geared to high-end investors that will offer diversified, risk-controlled asset allocation, advised by an elite group of 13 international money managers. Institutional money-management firms like Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Sanford C. Bernstein, Provident Investment Counsel, Jarislowsky Fraser and I.G. Investment Management, Ltd. are among the group that will oversee investments in the program.
“Investors Group is committed to delivering financial solutions that work for our clients and where managed asset programs are concerned, this will be the best in Canada,” said John Wiltshire, vice president, product and service marketing.
Investors Group consultants will work with clients on an ongoing basis to develop customized investment portfolios and long-term planning strategies that meet client’s risk tolerance and investment time horizon. Diversification will be achieved by spreading an investment across seven asset categories and a diverse range of management styles.
Investors Group says the initial prospectus for iProfile is to be filed within days. The program is expected to be available in early January, subject to regulatory approval. The initial minimum investment will be $250,000. The program will only be available through the company’s network of 3,500 consultants.
