Winnipeg-based Investors Group Inc. is reducing the management fees of four of its mutual funds in addition to changing the risk rating of a separate mutual fund.

The fee reductions will be in effect on or about Nov. 1, according to the firm’s announcement released Thursday.

They affect IG AGF Global Equity Fund and Class and Investors Canadian Natural Resource Fund, both of which will have their fees reduced by 0.15%; IG Mackenzie Emerging Markets Class, whose fee will be reduced by 0.2%; and IG AGF U.S. Growth Fund and Class, whose fee will decline by 0.25%.

The prospectus and Fund Facts documents for those products are currently being updated in order to reflect both their current management rates up to Oct. 31 and the new rates.

Investors Group has also changed the risk rating for Investors Global Fixed Income Flex Portfolio to “low to medium” from “low.” This change is currently in effect.

Material changes have not been made to the investment objectives or the management of the fund, according to the announcement.
