Investors Group Inc. today introduced its new prospectus for the Investors Masterseries Funds and its partner fund families, as well as for the Investors Portfolio Funds, and the 1World Portfolios.
The new prospectus consolidates disclosure for the Masterseries Funds and partner funds, including the line-up of eight Investors Portfolio Funds, and seven recently introduced 1World Portfolios.
“This prospectus provides a comprehensive document for clients and consultants, offering up-to-date and easy to understand investment information,” says John Wiltshire, senior vice president, Marketing – Financial Services.
The firm also announced several fund changes.
The manager for the five Rothschild: Global Strategy Series Funds is now I.G. Investment Management, Ltd. and the 25% annual administrative fee has been eliminated. AGF Funds Inc. continues as the advisor for these funds.
Also, as previously announced in September, the names of these Funds are now:
- IG AGF Canadian Balanced Fund (formerly GS Canadian Balanced Fund);
- IG AGF Canadian Growth Fund II (formerly GS Canadian Equity Fund);
- IG AGF U.S. Growth Fund II (formerly GS American Equity Fund);
- IG AGF International Equity Fund (formerly GS International Equity Fund);
- IG AGF International Bond Fund (formerly GS International Bond Fund).
In other changes, the Investors Global Bond Fund may now invest a portion of its assets in higher yielding debt securities as a means to further enhance its performance.
The Investors Retirement Mutual Fund is now renamed Investors Canadian Large Cap Value Fund to more clearly reflect its investment mandate.
Investors Canadian Small Cap Fund II is now renamed Investors Canadian Small Cap Growth Fund to more clearly reflect its growth investment style mandate.
Investors Canadian Small Cap Fund will continue to follow a more value oriented investment style. This fund, closed to new investors in 1998, is now re-opened to new investors.
