Toronto-based Invesco Canada Ltd. Monday announced the launch of 10 new T-FLEX series on Invesco Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolio and PowerShares Tactical Bond Fund.

Invesco Canada’s T-FLEX series provides investors with a choice of annual target distribution levels to generate a steady tax-efficient cash flow stream from their investment. Each T-FLEX series is structured to pay out a fixed, monthly distribution that will be reset at the end of each calendar year.

Each of the funds will now be available in T4, T6, F4 and F6 series. The T4 and F4 series target a 4% annual distribution level, while T6 and F6 target a 6% annual distribution level. The F4 and F6 series are available exclusively through fee-based advisors.

Invesco Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolio will also be available in PT4 and PT6 series, targeting 4% and 6% annual distribution levels, respectively. These are part of Invesco Canada’s Private Investor series and are available for households who invest, in aggregate, a minimum of $100,000 in Invesco Canada Funds.

The launch of the new series is based on past demand for the T-FLEX series on Invesco Intactive Strategic Capital Yield Portfolio Class and PowerShares Tactical Bond Capital Yield Class.

The Capital Yield Classes were closed to additional investments on June 14, after the 2013 federal budget eliminated the tax advantages of character conversion transactions. Invesco Canada then opened the previously restricted trust versions — Invesco Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolio and PowerShares Tactical Bond Fund — to non-registered investors.
