The Investment Funds Institute of Canada 10th annual golf tournament raised $60,695 for charity.
The tournament was held on July 24 at Lionhead Golf and Country Club near Toronto. The event, sponsored by Fundata Canada Inc., saw 288 golfers take part in an effort to raise money for charity.
The winners on the Legends course were Ed Brooks, Darrell Currah, Jason Keogh and Quinn McMahon all from MRS Inc. with a winning score of 64.
Kish Kapoor and Darin Thompson from Assante Corp., Michael Simonetta from First International Asset Management, and Rob Penteliuk from CIBC World Markets were the winners on the Masters course with a score of 63.
The team comprising David Speller from Bowne of Toronto, Olivo Copetti, Pat Pacchiarotti and Ann Stathakos from AIM Funds Management Inc., won the Most Honest Team award on the Legends course.
An honourable mention for the Masters course goes to Patti Best, Kathy Moodie, and Sandy West from Maxxum Financial Services Co., as well as Heather Stoddart from Jewelstone Systems Inc.
