(December 7 – 15:45 ET) – Kevin Wolfe, President of Bissett Investment Management, a division of Franklin Templeton Investments, has been named chairman of board of directors of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada for the 2000/01 year.

Wolfe joined Bissett in 1993 and was the vice chairman of IFIC during 1999/00.

“While I am undertaking a tremendous responsibility, I feel very confident that the obstacles that lie ahead of us in the year to come will be met by an industry poised to accept the challenges and opportunities of dynamic, continuous growth,” stated Wolfe at the IFIC Annual General Meeting in November.
