(March 21 – 15:10 ET) – Dynamic Mutual Funds Ltd says that its chairman, Ned Goodman, has returned to hands on mutual fund management.

Goodman will lead the portfolio management team for the Dynamic Focus + family of funds. The funds are managed using a buy-and-hold philosophy.

“The complexity of the stock market, and psychological concern about the risk of total loss, always tends to fake out all but the most devoted followers of the permanent value, buy-and-hold philosophy,” says Goodman. “The Dynamic Focus + investment process of buying few, well-selected good businesses and holding them long term through challenging market cycles is definitely a proven and prosperous success story.”

Goodman has almost four decades of experience as a value-trained securities analyst, portfolio manager and senior executive, and has an established reputation as one of Canada’s most successful investment counselors.

In order to assume this new role, Goodman has resigned from the directorships of a number of corporations and public institutions, and will be relinquishing some of his Dundee Wealth management-related activities.
