(April 12 – 10:40 ET) – Franklin Templeton Investments Corp. is welcoming Harry Marmer as senior vice president, institutional services. In this new position, Marmer will have overall responsibility for Franklin Templeton Investments’ institutional business across Canada.

Marmer, currently the president of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts and a member of the Board of the Canadian Investment Review, brings more than 14 years of experience in the institutional money management business. Most recently, he was director of institutional investing at Frank Russell Co. Marmer will begin his new position at the end of this month.
