Kingston, Ont.-based Empire Life Insurance Co. has launched a new digital application process that allows financial advisors to complete and submit applications for new segregated fund policies for their clients online.
Fast & Full Investment Application features an expedited five-step process that replaces the traditionally paper-heavy application process. It also provides an option for seg fund applications to be completed remotely rather than in person.
“By focusing on improving the user experience for both the client and the advisor, this new digital tool saves time, is more convenient and simplifies the process of applying for these investments with Empire Life,” says Mike Stocks, vice president and chief marketing officer, retail, in a statement. “Advisors will have more time to meet with clients to review their needs and provide investment solutions rather than spending time on paperwork and administrative tasks.”
Many life insurers have introduced electronic life insurance applications in recent years, including Empire Life, which unveiled its Fast & Full Life Application in 2013. The new app extends that digital capability to seg funds.
The Fast & Full Investment App is compatible with tablets, desktop and laptop computers and incorporates electronic signatures.
