Mackenzie Financial Corporation, manager of Mackenzie Sentinel Canada Equity Fund Limited will call a meeting of shareholders to approve dissolution of the Fund in early April 2002.

A notice of the proposed dissolution will be mailed to shareholders of the fund shortly. If approved by the shareholders, it is anticipated the Fund will distribute its net assets to shareholders following the special meeting. The dissolution remains subject to the receipt of all regulatory approvals.
