Desjardins Trust Inc. plans to change the financial year-end for each of the Desjardins Funds. The date will be changed from December 31 to September 30.

The change will affect all 29 of the Desjardins Funds at the close of the nine-month financial year ending Sept. 30, 2001.

According to the company, the change in financial year-end will allow it to provide unitholders with more recent audited year-end information on the Desjardins Funds before the RRSP sales season. As well, the change will coincide with the year-end of the Maestral Funds launched by Desjardins Trust Inc. last year.
