Counsel Group of Funds Inc. has appointed Mawer Investment Management as an “asset class specialist” for Counsel Managed Portfolio effective June 25. Mawer replaces McDonald Investment Inc.

Counsel has also expanded the investment management responsibilities of Cumberland Asset Management Corp. to include all investment allocation investment decisions for Counsel Managed Portfolio effective June 25. McDonald also formerly provided these services.

Counsel has also appointed Cumberland as portfolio adviser for Counsel International Managed RSP Portfolio, replacing McDonald, effective June 25, 2001.
