Assante Asset Management Ltd. is reporting net sales of $38.8 million for September 2001, compared to net sales of $4.3 million in the corresponding period last year.

Year-to-date net sales for 2001 now total $489.1 million compared to $143.5 million for the same period last year. As a percentage of the company’s monthly average Canadian assets under management, September net sales were 0.9%.

Yesterday, IFIC revealed that it expects industry net sales to come in between $800 million and $1 billion for September, with sales dominated by the banks.

Assante’s Canadian assets under management were $4.37 billion at September 30.
