AIM Funds Management today announced that Geoff MacDonald, portfolio manager and Jeff Hyrich, portfolio manager (subject to regulatory approval), will assume portfolio management responsibility for Trimark Americas Fund and Trimark RSP Americas Fund.

In addition, Rory Ronan has been promoted to portfolio manager from equity analyst, subject to regulatory approval, and will co-manage Trimark Canadian Resources Fund with Geoff MacDonald.

The investment strategy of Trimark America’s Fund will not change. The fund seeks to provide strong capital growth over the long term and invests primarily in North, Central and South American markets. The fund will continue to emphasize emerging growth companies in the U.S. and select securities of well-established companies in Latin America.
