(April 2 – 16:30 ET) – AIC Ltd. today announced the introduction of a new mutual fund corporation — AIC Corporate Fund Inc.

Structured as a corporation and not as traditional mutual fund trusts, the new AIC Corporate Fund Inc. consists of 19 share classes with similar investment objectives as funds from AIC Advantage, Diversified, Focused, Sector and Income Groups. The Corporate Funds’ portfolios are managed by the same individuals who manage the corresponding AIC Trust Funds.

AIC Corporate Funds provide investors can move their assets among the 19 share classes offered without realizing taxable capital gains. Investors only pay tax on capital gains when they redeem their shares for cash or transfer them to an AIC Trust Fund.
