(March 1 – 10:40 ET) – AGF Funds Inc. says that it has amalgamated with Global Strategy Financial Inc. The combined entity will continue to operate under the name of AGF Funds Inc.
On November 20, AGF Management Ltd. paid $438 million in cash and stock to purchase Global Strategy’s parent, Global Strategy Holdings Inc.
The merged company has more than $34 billion in total assets under management.
