Toronto-based 1832 Asset Management LP will assume the role of portfolio advisor for Scotia European Fund, effective July 16, the company announced on Tuesday.

1832 is also the portfolio manager of the fund.

“There will be no change to the investment objective of the fund as a result,” 1832 says in a news release.

1832 is a limited partnership, the general partner of which is wholly owned by Bank of Nova Scotia.
