Hugh Gillard has joined the advisory board of boutique investment banking firm Westwind Partners.

Gillard, principal of Calgary’s Saddleback Resources Ltd. brings over 34 years experience in executive and advisory roles within the oil and gas industry and energy sector. He has held numerous senior positions including president and CEO of Kelso Energy Inc., president and COO of PrimeWest Energy Trust, and president and CEO of CanWest Gas Marketing Inc.

He currently serves on the board of Crescent Point Energy Trust, PetroWest Energy Services Trust and Creststreet Power Income Fund, all publicly traded entities. He is a graduate of the University of Calgary (Commerce) and the Stanford Business School Executive Program.
