The Mutual Fund Dealers Association has added Stephen Geist, president of TD Mutual Funds, to its board.

Geist replaces another bank-owned fund company chief, Ted Cadsby, CEO of CIBC Securities has left the board.

The MFDA board is currently chaired by Terry Wright, senior vice president, general counsel & secretary with Investors Group.

Other industry directors include George Aguiar, Tim Calibaba, Tom Hockin, and David Wood.

Larry Waite, president & CEO of the MFDA, also sits on the board, as do public directors Martin Friedland, Robert MacLellan, Janet Pau, Irene Seiferling and Bob Wright.
