TD Bank Financial Group today announced the appointment of Eric Morisset as managing director and group head, Quebec investment banking for TD Securities.

Morisset brings over 12 years of financial services experience to his new role, including most recently as a senior investment banker with responsibility for managing key relationships with Quebec-based companies.

“Eric is a recognized leader in the market and has built strong client relationships during his career. We are looking forward to leveraging his long-time Quebec roots and his wealth of knowledge in investment banking,” said Bob Dorrance, CEO, TD Securities and vice chairman, TDBFG. “TD Securities is firmly committed to continuing our growth in the Quebec Investment Banking market. Under Eric’s leadership our presence in this important market will continue to grow,” added Dorrance.

Morisset earned his Bachelor of Commerce at Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Montreal, and his Master’s of Business Administration from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. He is also a Chartered Accountant. Morisset will begin his work with TD Securities on June 5.
