The executive offices at BMO Capital Markets are undergoing a reshuffling as the firm announced a series of executive appointments.

The investment and corporate banking arm of Bank of Montreal (TSX:BMO) Wednesday announced that Darryl White has been appointed head of global investment & corporate banking, where he will be responsible for all of BMO’s I&CB activities with corporate and government clients worldwide, encompassing equity and debt underwriting, corporate lending and project financing, and merger and acquisitions advisory services. White will report to Tom Milroy, the firm’s CEO, and he’ll join the firm’s operating and executive committees.

White joined BMO Capital Markets in 1994 and served in various capacities in its Toronto offices, including the M&A, diversified industries and communications & technology groups, before being appointed head of I&CB Montreal in 2006. He also served as co-head of the firm’s media & communications practice. In 2010, he was appointed deputy head, investment & corporate banking Canada and global head, equity capital markets.

The firm also announced that Luke Seabrook is adding responsibility for all of BMO’s global fixed income and money market sales and trading activity to his existing financial products portfolio which encompasses the company’s cross-asset derivatives trading and origination, structured products, structured finance and commodities businesses. He has been appointed head, financial products and debt products.

Seabrook joined BMO Capital Markets in 2004 as managing director and head of equity linked and mutual fund linked products. He was appointed head of financial products in 2008.

Finally, Charles (C.J.) Gavsie has been appointed head, foreign exchange products, with responsibility for BMO’s global foreign exchange sales and trading activity. He will also become a member of the firm’s executive committee.

Gavsie joined the firm in 1996. After a brief period working at other firms in both Canada and the US, he returned to BMO in 2005 as head of Canadian FX sales and later added China FX sales to his responsibilities. He has overseen the foreign exchange needs of the corporate, institutional and mid-cap client base of BMO Capital Markets’ Canadian investment & corporate banking business as well as BMO Financial Group’s Canadian personal & commercial banking division, including the alignment of advisory services on hedging and investment strategies. In addition, he has managed business development opportunities with BMO Capital Markets in Canada and China.

The appointments are all effective March 31.
