Jack Rando has been appointed as the director, capital markets for the Investment Industry Association of Canada (IIAC).

Rando’s expanded responsibility will include working with IIAC member firms in presenting the investment industry’s positions on important topic areas such as tax reform, operational efficiency and market advancement to government, regulators and industry stakeholders. He will also maintain oversight of the IIAC’s quarterly research publications and industry statistics.

Rando recently held the position of assistant director, IIAC and capital market analyst with the Investment Dealers Association of Canada. He holds the CFA designation in addition to MBA and BBA degrees.
