CIBC Mellon today announced the expansion of its business development team with the appointment of Stuart Plummer to the position of executive director, business development for the pension fund segment, and Colleen Coman to the position of executive director, business development for the insurance segment.

Stuart, who has been with CIBC Mellon since 1997 in pension product management, will contribute to CIBC Mellon’s ongoing efforts to grow its market share in the pension segment, including relationship management of the pension consultant community. Prior to joining CIBC Mellon, Stuart spent nearly 20 years at two other major Canadian financial institutions with responsibility for product and relationship management.

Colleen recently joined CIBC Mellon and will be responsible for growing the company’s market share in the insurance segment. Before joining the company, she spent the last 15 years at a major Canadian financial institution where she led a sales team providing currency risk management solutions, market analysis and deal execution to a broad range of Canadian corporate and institutional clients.

CIBC Mellon is a 50-50 joint venture between CIBC and Mellon Financial Corp.
