PlanPlus Inc. reports that Larry Bowen has joined the financial planning software firm as vp of operations effective April 14.

Bowen’s most recent role was at Camillion Solutions Inc. where he was the senior project manager / program manager. Camillion is a software vendor specializing in product development and policy administration solutions for insurance carriers. His role was to oversee development, testing and delivery of their software solutions.

The majority of Bowen’s career was at EDS, where his last role was that of regional operations manager for Canada, including managing a project management office, managing large and complex implementations, business development, data centre management, call centre management and problem and change management.

Over the past 24 months the majority of PlanPlus customers have opted for the software as a service (SAS) model where the PlanPlus Web Advisor is fully maintained and managed by PlanPlus on PlanPlus computer systems located in the IBM data centre in Montreal.
