BMO Capital Markets has named Barry Pollock as global head of its loan products group, responsible for the firm’s corporate banking business around the world.
He replaces Surjit Rajpal who will become chief risk officer for BMO Financial Group in March, and was recently named deputy head, enterprise risk and portfolio management.
Pollock joined BMO Capital Markets in 1984. He spent 19 years in the company’s corporate finance and project finance groups, and since 2003 he has led the Canadian loan products business.
Phil Lunn will replace Pollock as head of loan products, Canada. Lunn joined BMO Capital Markets in 2000 and has over 25 years of investment and corporate banking experience covering a variety of companies and industries.
