BMO Capital Markets has hired Tom Krasnewich has a managing director in its U.S. industrials practice based in Chicago, BMO Financial Group announced Friday.
Krasnewich brings over 15 years of investment banking experience working with corporate and private equity clients focused on the industrials sector.
“Our clients will greatly benefit from Tom’s deep sector knowledge and many years of deal experience in the industrial space. Further, his longstanding relationships with the private equity community will be a tremendous asset to our firm. We are delighted that he will be joining our growing team of senior industrial investment bankers,” says Paul Hawkinson, managing director and sector head industrials group, U.S. investment and corporate banking.
Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Krasnewich was a managing director in the industrials group for Deutsche Bank Securities in Chicago targeting middle market advisory and financing transactions. He has also held positions at Stern Stewart and Company and Smith Barney. Krasnewich earned an MBA from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University.
