At TSE Inc.’s first annual meeting, chairman Dan Sullivan announced that Bates, president and CEO of Schwab Canada Inc., is leaving the board to be replaced by Robert Dorrance, president and CEO of Newcrest Capital Inc.

Dorrance joins Lee Simpson, CEO of Thomson Kernaghan and Eric Tripp, executive managing director equity division at BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. as the three shareholder representatives on the board.

“On behalf of the Board and TSE management, I would like to thank Bates, for his tremendous commitment and contribution to our board,” said Sullivan. “Paul was an active member and, as many of you know, a supporter of the TSE.”
