AGF Management Ltd. (TSX:AGF.B) Thursday announced the appointment of Catherine Williams as vice president of U.S. business development at AGF Investments America Inc.
Williams brings over 20 years of institutional industry experience to AGF. As a member of the institutional sales team, she will be responsible for the market outreach of AGF’s investment solutions to the corporate, non-profit, public and Taft-Hartley plans within the United States.
Most recently she was a vice president at Boston-based State Street Corp,, where she managed the sales strategy for the public fund market and positioned the firm’s custody and investment servicing capabilities to prospective clients.
This latest appointment complements AGF’s team of experienced professionals dedicated to the U.S. institutional market.
Christopher Adey joined AGF America in April 2012 as vice president, head of global consultant relations, to manage AGF’s investment consultant relationships and build support for the firm’s core products in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.
Thomas Clancy, who joined AGF America in 2009, was recently appointed head of U.S. distribution. In this new role, Clancy will establish and lead the execution of key business development strategies and oversee all sales, marketing and client service initiatives.
