Toronto-headquartered Navacord Corp. rebranded a group of its broker partners today as part of an effort to build “a unified national presence,” according to a media release.

This list includes Waypoint Insurance Services, Waypoint Benefits & Financial Services, Seafirst Insurance Brokers, Lloyd Sadd Insurance Brokers, Lloyd Sadd Consulting, Iridium Risk Services, Ives Insurance Brokers and Insurance Store.

“Aligning these brokerages under a unified, national brand is a defining moment for Navacord,” said the firm’s president and CEO Shawn DeSantis in the release.

The move comes at the same time as the mergers of Waypoint Insurance and Seafirst Insurance in B.C., Lloyd Sadd Insurance and Iridium Risk Services in Alberta and Ives Insurance and Insurance Store in Ontario.

“We have an incredible opportunity to amplify our national strength and presence while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit and local touch that our company was built upon,” T. Marshall Sadd, Navacord’s executive chairman said.

“Additional transitions” will be announced in the months ahead, according to the release.
