Transamerica Life head office hit by power outage

(March 26 – 17:30 ET) – Transamerica Life Canada today announced that its Head Office in Toronto was affected by a temporary building power outage.

The outage, which occurred at 15:30 ET on Sunday March 25, temporarily interrupted telephone, e-mail and fax communications with Transamerica Life Canada’s Canadian head office, as well as access to the company’s computer systems and Canadian Web sites. It may also interrupted processing of Monday’s business.

As of 14:00 ET power was restored, and the office was fully operational.
