Los Angeles-based InvestCloud, the parent company of financial planning software NaviPlan, announced partnerships with two other software firms: know your customer (KYC) screening firm smartKYC and AI notetaking assistant Zocks.

The partnership with smartKYC will help InvestCloud automate due diligence during client onboarding and perform ongoing risk monitoring, it said.

The partnership with Zocks will help advisors prepare for and follow-up on client discussions. Zocks supports French-language transcriptions and said in March it had plans to add a Canadian-domiciled data centre this year.

IG Wealth gets access to French language support from interVal

IG Wealth Management has been using interVal, a London, Ont.-based automated data discovery firm focused on automating insights for small- and medium-sized businesses, for a year. Now, the platform includes French language support for IG advisors, interVal said in an email.

The interVal platform analyzes a business’s metrics, such as its valuation, and informs the owner’s financial advisors of opportunities. It can provide information about a business’s excess working capital, serviceable debt and investable assets, so advisors can advise their clients on investment, cash management, credit and insurance.

Last year, interVal became referral partners with Massachusetts-based wealth management platform developer FusionIQ.

The AI can also prepare for meetings using client insights, transcribe meeting recordings and highlight follow-up items afterwards.

In August, FNZ entered a five-year agreement with Microsoft to develop AI applications for the financial sector. FNZ uses Microsoft 365 Copilot in middle- and back-office operations.
