TD Canada Trust’s banking network went down over the weekend. The firm blames the disruption on a hardware problem, and notes that service has since been restored.
Due to technical problems at approximately 11:00am ET on Saturday, October 27, TD began experiencing significant service disruptions within its Green Machine network, EasyWeb on-line banking and EasyLine telephone banking.
Service to TD CT’s customers through other automatic bank machine networks was affected as well. TD CT point-of-sale debit cards were intermittently affected. Branches experienced disruptions, but remained open.
The bank says that it regrets any inconvenience or delays that this service disruption may have caused, and remains committed to meeting customer-banking needs.
